Utility Shut-Offs

Wisconsin's winter moratorium law prevents utility companies, like Wisconsin Public Service and WE Energies, from disconnecting your utility services between November 1 and April 15.

However, if you do not pay your utilities throughout the winter, you may face disconnection on April 15.  Bankruptcy can prevent your utilities from being disconnected or, if your utilities have already been disconnected, re-establish your services.  However, it takes time to file for bankruptcy, so please don't wait until the last possible minute to act.  If you are struggling with your winter heating and electric bills, call us today at (920) 264-9725 to schedule your free consultation.
